Hey guys, it's been a while since our last post. We have been a little busy, work has begun on our amiibo battle app it took us a long time and a lot of research to get to where we are today!. Due to the work on our app we have been playing around with custom artwork. Something with a bit of a kick to it. This is where these custom splatoon amiibo cards have come from. We love the artistic approach to them and not to mention the feel. Im pretty sure we will be going with this supplier when the game goes live! Of course it will need some edits here and there due to the way our game works but for now it's working!

So what's the deal with these amiibo cards?

Well as we stated we have been making a battle app. This are coming together nicely, but we wanted to play around with some cards that looked fun. These cards were created by mr amiibo. He has been creating amiibo cards for about 3 years now, so we knew we were getting a good deal when we went to him. There was 3 different types of splatoon cards available but we really wanted the artistic ones due to the fact they look fun! Plus our amiibo app will be going for a more anime feel to it. Which will require artists to create anime editions of all the amiibo on the market.

Let's face it this is going to take a large amount of time and our budget won't really cover that at the moment. So we opted for custom splatoon amiibo cards. Sure we could have used blanks, but why? let's make this trial and error period look great!

So when will this app go live?

At the moment we are at the bare bones of the app. We have created a simple layout, some artwork and got the connectivity sorted. We have initiated the first battles, 1 Player vs another but no animation as of yet. So we have got a far way to go! But all the help we have received so far has helped a lot and we expect the app to be released in under 12 months time! we all have other jobs to do so things are running a little slower than usual!

First off I would like to get this clear, we did not purchase those awful pvc cards you know those sticky, faded amiibo cards, not a fan sorry.
